No great artist ever sees things as they really are. If he did he would cease to be an artist” Oscar Wilde
Sometimes you scroll through all your favorite Instagram accounts for inspiration and then grab all your favorite art supplies and mash them all together.
A wreath, donut, solar system whatever you want it to be is born! The kids had so much putting all the pieces together and deciding what to call their creation.
Dorothy is holding my wreath next to a circle because I wanted a reminder to use this project the next time the preschools are studying the planets. We're ridiculous but we sure do have fun!
Let's get some supplies:
The painted paper from our previous tutorial
Foil, pom poms, cardstock, glitter, everything but the kitchen sink
I'm sorry I forgot to take a picture, but first cut a circle out of the middle of your paper plate. (Fold it in half and cut a half circle)
Also, if you haven't already, use your circle punches to cut various circle sizes out of your painted paper, cardstock and foil.
Color a little. Painting the whole plate first would even look great.
Glue a little
Stick and glue on some more stuff......n stuff.
And this one is totally our favorite. This little's composition is on point!
We had so much fun making our own and then watching the kids have fun making theirs. This is really a hit with the mini artists!
